Meet Trish Fisher! Trish has more than 17 years of professional YMCA experience. Trish served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Scranton YMCA since March, 2014. Trish has a Masters of Education and works on several Y committees at the national level including: The National Strategic Plan CEO Advisory Committee and the Strengthening Membership as our Cause Training Committee. She is a founding member and former chairperson of Y-USA's National Women’s Leadership Resource Network. Trish formally coached up and coming executives in the movement. Trish was on the planning committee and was a participant for Y-USA’s Multicultural International Leadership Institute in Peru.
Trish started her Y career as a Teen Director and the GSY is Trish’s 3rd Y CEO position. Over the years, Trish has been an adjunct professor in history and a surgical assistant. Trish is originally from Putnam Valley, NY, but has lived in several areas of the country. In the next 3-5 years, Trish will be concentrating on the GSY's facility in Dunmore. Since membership numbers have more than tripled in the past five years to well over 8,000, there is a considerable need for additional space and a renovation of the locker rooms.
Meet Karen Clause! Karen is the Associate Executive Director for the Greater Scranton YMCA! Karen has been working at the Y for over 30 years! Her Y work includes overseeing and managing the development, implementation, administration and evaluation of assigned operations such as membership, sports, health & wellness and youth and adult programs!

Meet Meghan! Meghan is the Marketing and Development Director at the Greater Scranton & Wilkes-Barre Family YMCAs.
Meet Diana Dempsey.
Diana is the Aquatic Director at the Greater Scranton YMCA. Diana has been working at the Y for thirty-four years (5 years here at the Greater Scranton Y, 4 years at the Hollywood Florida YMCA, then back at the Greater Scranton YMCA for the past 25 years) and is originally from Western Pa (about 1 1/2 hours north of Pittsburgh).
Her Y work focuses on all aspects of Aquatics here at the YMCA. This includes Swim Lessons & Swim Instructor Training, Water Exercise & Water Exercise Instructor Training, Swim Team & Training Swim Officials, Lifeguard Training, and all of the schedules for the Aquatic Area. What Diana loves most about her job is helping her staff to provide meaningful programs that meet the many needs of our community while helping to keep our children and families safe around water., Senior Aquatics Director
Meet John Andreoli! John is the Aquatics Director for the Greater Scranton YMCA! He has worked in various capacities at the Y in the past six years. His Y work includes dealing with the day-to-day function and coordination of the pools, programming, and staff. He is a Certified Pool Operator, a swim instructor, a Wibit engineer, and he also coaches the GSY Stingrays in his free time.
What he enjoys most about his job is sharing his love of all things aquatic: whether it's water safety, teaching children and adults to swim, imparting his passion towards competition, or pool chemistry., Aquatics Director
Mike McElhinney, also known as “Mack” is the Director of Camping Services for the Greater Scranton and Wilkes-Barre Family YMCAs. This will be Mike’s 23 consecutive summer as a YMCA Camping Professional. Mike has worked at a number of other YMCA Camps across the country in a variety of camping programs.
YMCA Camping Services provides camping programs for both the Greater Scranton YMCA and the Wilkes Barre Family YMCA (Day Camp, Overnight Camp, Parent/Child and Family programs, School Outdoor Education visits and Facility and Group Rentals). The Camping Services office is located at YMCA Camp Kresge as well. Mike looks forward to seeing you at one of our great YMCA Camping Services programs.

Meet Meghan Burns! Meghan is the Financial Development and Marketing Coordinator for the Greater Scranton and Wilkes-Barre Family YMCAs.
Meghan has been working for the Y for over 4 years in various roles. She is a Northeast Pennsylvania Native and graduated from Wilkes University with a degree in Communication Studies. Her Y work focuses on coordinating the Annual Support Campaign, managing the Ys various social media accounts, website maintenance, digital promotions and more!
What Meghan loves most about her job is helping share the YMCAs mission throughout Lackawanna and Luzerne Counties. "I learned so much growing up at the Y. It really helped shape who I am today. I love seeing how it impacts others and sharing those stories with our community!", Financial Development & Marketing Coordinator
Robert Duliba is the Senior Director of Membership Services for the Wilkes-Barre Family & Greater Scranton YMCAs. Robert has been working for multiple Ys since 2012. His main focus is membership and ensuring all individuals that come into the Y feel welcomed and enjoy their experience.
"The great thing about membership is that it extends far beyond interactions in the Welcome Center. It's how we connect with our members in a group exercise class, in the pool, walking in the hallway and outside of the walls of the Y."
What Robert loves most about the Y is how important the organization is to communities. "What would communities around the country look like if the Y ceased to exist?" He believes in the Y's mission and wants to make sure everyone feels connected to it., Senior Membership Director
Janine is the Youth Director at the Greater Scranton YMCA. She has been at the Greater Scranton YMCA for 28 years working with children and families in Early Learning, after School, Summer Camp and other facets of youth programs. Currently, Janine is the Director of the Early Learning Center and the After School Program. Both of these programs are licensed through the Dept. of Human Services. Also, during the summer months she is the Site Director Supervisor for our Summer Learning Loss Prevention Program. This YMCA signature program helps elementary students that are reading below grade level.
Meet Loretta Strehle! Loretta is the Member Engagement Director. She been with the Y for over 25 years initially starting on a part time basis at the Welcome Center and moving to her current full time position. Loretta's Y work includes overseeing day to day operation of the Welcome Center and member services.

Meet Rich! Rich is the CFO at the Greater Scranton & Wilkes-Barre Family YMCAs. Rich has worked for the Y for the past 9 years. He grew up in Luzerne County, but now resides in Lackawanna County.
Rich graduated from King's College with a degree in Accounting. He oversees all financial reporting, budgeting, general accounting and implementing the new accounting procedures. What Rich loves about his job is being able to help the people in the community that he lives in., Chief Financial Officer
Meet Dale! Dale is the Facility and Grounds Director at the Greater Scranton YMCA. Dale is a Northeastern Pennsylvania native.
Dale ensures for the safety of Greater Scranton YMCA members and facility visitors everyday. What Dale likes most about his job at the Y is meeting new people and spreading the cause and mission of the Y with our members and community!
Meet Brandon Whipple! Brandon is the Health and Wellness Director of The Greater Scranton YMCA. Brandon has worked for multiple Y's since 2013. His main focus is overseeing our entire health and wellness department and the safety of all our members who use it. Brandon also helps to coordinate our youth programming to ensure we offer a wide variety of activities to help keep our youth active and teach social responsibility.
